When a fire breaks out below Free Rein to draw its defenders away, Witchblood Rask moves in and seizes the town. A brilliant alchemist, Rask has invented a partial cure for mutants, but is willing to bleed the town dry trying to perfect it. The PCs stand up to the Witchbloods, build a resistance, and protect their homes before Pathos' oldest settlement is lost.
